Hello all,
Day 2 with the boys went pretty smoothly. They slept until about 8 am. Then we all got dressed and went down to breakfast. They actually have better table manners then Devon. (which does not say much, I realize). We all went for a walk and then had lunch. We had to change Hotels because the one we have been staying at was overbooked. They sent us to another hotel owned by the same company. It is brand new and is a Holiday Inn. They upgraded us to a Suite which has two rooms and two bathrooms, living room with table and chairs. Other then being away from any activity, the room is great. There is a grocery store next door so we are now versed in Russian grocery shopping. This is really a challenge when you not only can't speak but can't read the language either. I have twice bought milk that I have no idea what it was and the boys spit it out. We will stick with Juice and water for now. Boys took a good nap, a big long walk out side, ate a great dinner, bath and then to bed just like champs. They are doing better then Jeff and I. I keep getting up to check on them and jump at every squeak. Tomorrow is another day of passing time. We are trying to just enjoy this time and getting to know the boys better. Love to all, J&J
We were so hoping that you would have a break long enough to post to the blog. Must have been hectic day w/ changing hotels & all. Just thrilled to hear Blake is so happy. Travis sounds like a typical 3 yr old & all boy. How are communications going? Is it mostly sign? We are back to CBF, got the card & b'day present Syd needs for the party tonite. The girls are giving Devon a ride on the golf cart so I could post and then when they finish the horses they will take turns. It is 93 and super hot, not ready for this yet. Wished you could be on your way home instead of on to Moscow but time will go fast and then you won't have to leave "slower lower" only if you want to. It seems like an eternity not just last Sun that you left. Miss you.

Hi Guys: Well I'll try this again. Finished typing it and it wouldn't post. Oh well. Sounds like the boys are adjusting well. Sorry to say you are right about the table manners but this too shall pass. Very warm here and it came on much too fast but we aren't complaining. Talked (shouted I should say) to MM a bit ago and she is about the same. Will head back to your place tomorrow afternoon and relieve Marge. Love seeing the pictures and hearing the news. Love you all. Nina & B-Pa
ReplyDeleteOkay, so the question begs to be asked...what did you get if it wasn't milk? I can only imagine Jeff in the Russian grocery store!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you have this time with the boys...it will be perfect for them to get used to you before all H$%L breaks loose at home! Tee Hee!
It also seems like they are adjusting well too...I know you are both thankful for that.
Enjoy your restful day...next week will fly by!
Lots of LOVE!!!!
