GOTCH DAY!!!!
At Last, we have our boys. We are so excited. They did really great on the ride to the hotel. They were so amazed by all they saw and sqealed and pointed. It was priceless. They played in the room and then we took a walk in the stroller (Warm weather at last). We fed them dinner in the room and they ate like crazy. Then we gave them a bath and played and it was bed time. They both were champs and got right in bed and stayed there. It took Blake about an hour to fall asleep and travis was still fighting it when I came downstairs for a break. They are both doing great and we are so blessed. Now we are ready to come home. Unfortunately, the passports are not ready until Monday so we will hang out in St. Petersburg for the weekend. We fly to Moscow on Monday. They have Medical exams at the US Embassy on Wednesday. We get thier US Visa's on Thursday and fly out at O'dark thirty on Friday. Keep praying that we meet each challenge with Humor and love and we will be home next friday. Love to all J&J

This is the best news ever!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, but not surprised, to hear that everything went so smoothly. It sounds like you all had just the best day, even the weather was good. That "man" upstairs is really taking good care of those little fellows & their Mama & Papa. Wish you were all on your way home right now.
Love & our prayers,
Mom & Dad
Finally! I am so excited for all of you. A whole new and wonderful world has opened up for the boys. I’m sure it is overwhelming for everyone, but together, you will make out just fine. I just cannot wait until you get home and we get to finally meet the boys. I look forward to your blogs and impatiently wait for the next one. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Travis finally went to sleep about a 1/2 hour ago. He was just so wound. Blake has already rolled out of the bed to the floor but never woke up. I decided it was my turn for a Jack and coke and break. Sorry to do this as a comment and not a post but I am 40 with 5 kids and just plain forgot. Sad news Travis had to leave the orphange with his black sandals. His one pair of shoes did not fit. Have no worries Jodi has ever size with us, thats why we had 5 suitcases. Life is a blast and the boys are good. Just can't wait to get all my family in one place. Love all of you and will always remeber all the supprot we have gotten. JWA
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! We've been checking the site several times today...hope I don't get fired! Jeff - it's okay to have a Jack & coke...you'll need more in the years to come (ha! ha!). We can't wait for everyone to get home and live a great life on the Allen homestead. You are in our thoughts.
ReplyDeleteBe safe and give everyone hugs from all of us! You guys will make out just fine.

ReplyDeleteB-Pa and Nina are so excited for you. They look so cute in that tub. Is their hair blonder now that they have had their first bath? Hope they don't splash as much as Devon or you may all drown. We can't wait for May 1 to see them in person. Lots of love to all.

ReplyDeleteTim and I are looking at the pics of his new cousins and reading the blogs and comments. What a cool way of keeping us all informed. So glad you have them in your hands now as well as your hearts. We've been skyping with Sydney, Branagh and Devon (sort of) this morning already. We can't wait to talk to you all in person.
