Okay it is rare that I do a posting but Jodi is trying to keep me occuiped while the boys nap. Jodi and I have opened two new offices in Moscow. The first is in the hotel, yes the bathroom floor is the best place for us to use the computer while the boys sleep. The other office comes with staff. Jodi is the boss with all her paperwork and has three assistants Blake, Travis and me. This office is located in the back seat of a small Nissan which bearly has room for the four of us let alone the paperwork and the stacks of papers they are giving Jodi to fill out. Since Jodi is so organized it went smoothly as she already had many of the forms filled out from home but there was still about 25 new pages. Yeap there went another forest. Bottomline the Embassy paperwork is filled out and submitted. We have an appointment for 2 hours on Wed and when this meeting is done we should be able to get the boys Visa's, Yeah one step closier to home.
Medical exams went well this morning. Both boys checked out healthy. Travis weights 25 lbs and Blake is 22 lbs. Doc said Travis would proably never be the Sumai wrestler and they both need more vit D or sun so take them to a nudist beach in Maimi. Gonna try to get the same effect in Bridgeville, so watch out for the stud muffins.
Jodi forgot to add a couple of funnies. One to our large travel collection we have added, two toliet seats. One is a Large Pot and of course the one the boys like. The other is a smaller that they are starting to like. All must be carried in a plasitc bag through the airport. Next funny, while walking the boys in the park one woman asked Jodi if she was thier Grand Ma. Thought Jodi was gonna take her out. But when you think about it thier Grand Ma is Jodi's age.
Well I have rambled enough. It has been an adventure and it has been very exhausting and trying. I am fortunate to have done this with Jodi as our relationship is great. I cannot wait to get home and I never want to wait in a car for hours on end again and nothing to eat for hours. Plus be in BFE parts of Russia. Glad Jodi's got the big purse with all the snacks.

Jeff we liked your post, it's great to see you have not lost your sense of humor with all the stress & strain. Jodi has done (right from day 1) a terrific job with the paper work take it from one who pushes papers all day long it is not as easy a task as everyone thinks.
ReplyDeleteDon't be surprised if you see Pop-pop joining the boys nudist colony @19183 Wesley Church Road. The sudden heat wave & temps of 90+ are hitting him hard but he has pushed to get the peas planted but I think he's going to wait for you on the corn. You would not believe how dry the fields are. We are hoping for a little rain to get the seed started.
The girls youth group at church is having a flower sale this Sat. so I told Katie to come and raid my flower beds. Sydney and B'Shae are coming after school today as is Katie to help and we are going to thin out plants for her.
Wished you could have gotten earlier flight reservations but guess it just was not in the "Plan" for the all your best interest. It's great to start counting hours instead of days until you are all home safe and sound. Miss you.

Love the humor of Jeff's post. Glad everyone is doing well. Good thing there is wide open space behind your house for the needed sun. Take each day by itself and check off another step closer to being home. When the boys get some good ole' farm cooking they are grow like little bean stalks.

Still laughing my A** off...which we all know is a lot of laughing! Of course, Jodi is the mom and takes the mom role while caring for her THREE boys! As I have always told you Jeff, you are the SH**! So, the potty seats are appropriate. Glad the Dr's visit went well.

Jeff's post was great. I so wish you had a camera to take a picture of Jodi's face when that person made that comment. Too funny and so NOT realistic. Clearly this person forgot her glasses. Glad its going well, but I cannot imagine how much you just want to get home and spread out! 92 degrees today here in New Hampshire, but vacation week is the perfect time for it. ReplyDeletehi guys :) i agree with aunt jenny. . .they could use some pastries!!! but at least they have a little meat on their bones :) but i am fairly certain that when they get down here and have our good 'ol sussex county meals they will be just fine :) anyways, i am waiting (although somewhat impatiently) and look forward to the day when you both return with the boys! stay safe for ur oldest (and coolest) daughter!
