Moscow!!
Well, we made it to Moscow. We flew from St. Petersburg this afternoon. The flight was only about an hour long and it was a great test flight with the boys. They did great. It did not seem to phase them at all. The ride from the airport to our Hotel was about 1.5 hours with traffic and that was a little more difficult. They were both off schedule and missed naps so it was a little trying today but hopefully tomorrow will be better. We are scheduled for thier medical exams tomorrow morning at 8:30 am and then go to the Embassy on WEdnesday. Can't wait to get home, we miss everyone so much (and really miss our own bed). Love to all, J&J

Glad to hear the first leg went o.k. All is well here and we are anxious for your return. Especially Devon. But she is doing fine. Weather supposed to break later today and be more normal tomorrow - mid to upper 60's. Air con working great downstairs and this morning it was fine upstairs too...set at 68 and registering 68. Will see what this afternoon brings. Home for golf but ready to go pick up Syd, followed by B & D. Love you all.

Glad the flight went well...I wasn't sure how they were going to react to flying, but sounds like they did well.
ReplyDeleteIt is super hot here...glad tomorrow is looking a little cooler.
We can't wait for you to get home either. What are your plans for introducing the boys to all their "family?" You are going to need to give us time slots so we don't bug you and overwhelm the boys! I am sure the girls are missing you. You wait, everytime you leave the house and return, Devon is going to think you should bring another kid home!
Take care...lots of love sent to you all!

Each day brings you one step closer to coming home. Glad the flight went well and the boys made out fine. I don't like to ride in a car for 1 1/2 hours so I understand. Can't wait for you all to get back on USA soil and especially Sussex County. It is going to be a wonderful weekend at the Allen homestead. Remember we are here for everyone and don't hesitate to ask for anything! We can be a taxi for you, do laundry, cut the grass, take care of the horses...clean the house (that might be scary!!). Anything you need!
ReplyDeleteTomorrow should go well and then you'll only be 72 hours from coming home.
Love, Renee' & Gary
Happy to hear the "pre flight" test went well. Had to do some farm "go'fer jobs this am & lunch to the guys. Dad has called 3 x's asking how you made out. He is as excited, as are all the rest of us, to hear from you both & all about the boys. Hope you will be able to post some new pictures now that you are in Moscow. Are you sure you have only been gone 9 days so far? It seems like 9,000. I never want to hear again "Mom gets homesick for the grands" I think you will understand now. We will be glad when you are all home safe, sound, rested & ready to show off your new additions.
